OUR ORDERING SYSTEM
Availability
Freezer meat is based on availability and sold by the half | whole animal and ground beef 20lbs.
Deposit
When you place an order for whole/half/quarter beef, a deposit will be required. You can make your deposit through Zelle, cash, or check. Once your deposit is received, we will send you a "cut sheet" which is an order form that will allow you to choose what cuts of beef you would like.
Processing
Processing is in high demand and we only work with high quality USDA approved facilities. We will let you know when your beef will be processed, and when you can expect your order to be fulfilled.
Pick Up
You will be contacted prior to the processing date so we can coordinate pick up times.
Final Price
Final price is based on the hanging weight with the buyer paying all processing costs, except for ground beef which includes the processing into 1 lb. packages.
YIELD AND FREEZER SPACE INFORMATION
Half Beef Yield
Half beef will yield about 200 pounds. It can be 25% heavier than take home weight, but varies depending on how the animal is processed. Half of a processed animal will take up approximately 11.2 Cu Feet of freezer space.
Whole Beef Yield
A whole beef will yield a take home weight of about 400 to 600 pounds. A whole processed animal will take up approximately 22.4 Cu Feet of freezer space.
